Research indicates that many Christians have become isolated within Christian-centric bubbles, maintaining few authentic friendships with unbelievers. Furthermore, among those who are relationally engaged, evangelism remains low due to a widespread lack of training or confidence in how to articulate their faith.
But there is a solution. We can join Jesus on His mission.
A week ago, Susan and I had the honor of witnessing the baptism of Brenda. It was beautiful to see! And we learned the simple but powerful story of how it came to be.
You see, Brenda is the neighbor of Jan. Jan is a follower of Jesus and a member of the congregation we were visiting. Because Jan was joining Jesus on His mission and investing in a friendship with her, Brenda now has the hope of the Gospel in her life.
Praise God! And your neighbors can have His hope, too.
So far, in 2026, Susan and I have trained congregations in Cleveland, Houston, Sioux City, Orlando, Mounds View, San Francisco, and San Diego. Why not your congregation, too?

Getting started is as simple as 1, 2, 3:
1) Prepare
Prepare the congregation to take action by walking them through the book, “Joining Jesus on His Mission.” Hope goes up and anxiety goes down. People are inspired, motivated, and ready.
2) Equip
We come to your congregation to equip them via the “Joining Jesus Training Weekend.” People gain clarity and craft a personal plan to start living as everyday missionaries.
3) Support
We then provide ongoing support for the congregation as people implement their plans. Via monthly Zooms, people receive encouragement and coaching so they can take their next steps.
